Dear Exchange Club Supporter:

While the Members of the Exchange Club of East Dallas cannot change the world, we have a unique opportunity to change the way 4,000 elementary school children in East Dallas view the world.  We can provide the “gift of sight.”  We are hoping you will join in this effort.

This initiative is inspired by a long-time Exchange Club supporter who wishes to remain anonymous.  This saintly individual has generously offered an “End of 2020” Challenge Gift. For every dollar we raise through the end of the year, the donor will match it dollar for dollar (up to $6000).  We’ve committed that these funds will be used to continue one of our most important missions to the students we serve – the gift of sight.

Annually, the Exchange Club partners with Essilor Vision Foundation to provide free eye exams to the kiddos at 7 East Dallas elementary schools and free eyeglasses to the children who need them.  Through the generosity of our donors, over the last 5 years we’ve tested 20,000 and provided over 2,000 pairs of eyeglasses to children who otherwise could not see chalkboards/computer screens.  We can accomplish all this with a cash outlay of $12,500.

The Exchange Club is a 501c3 charitable organization.  We will gratefully acknowledge your gift and provide appropriate documentation for tax preparation.  100% of the money received will go to the children.
